Finally Comes to This by mary mcreynolds
Words will soon run out,
all the syllables sailing
on the wind of thoughts
and inspirations,
hopes, and aspirations,
fears and agitations—
the sum is staggering
if one could count the
total, weigh them in the
balance of first and
last.
Would we say more
or less, seek themes
to criticize or
psalms to praise the
Living Word?
It's a question
worth pursuing.
